Desert Safari Dubai with Quad Bike Thrill
When in Dubai, don’t miss out on the desert safari adventure! It was day three of my trip, and I tackled this thrilling escapade. I’m excited to share about the rest of the week. Choose between an adrenaline pumping camel ride or a speedy quad bike dash through the sand. Tours as short as four hours are available. Opt for a full day to enjoy bonuses like BBQ dinner, henna tattoos, and belly dancing for an extra charge. My itinerary had camel riding, quad biking, sandboarding, and an exhilarating drive in a Toyota Land Cruiser. Experience Dubai’s unique desert life and traditions with a fun-filled desert safari – tourists absolutely love it!

Desert Safari Dubai Experience:
My partner and I booked a joint desert safari Dubai adventure that took 4 hours midday. This meant others traveled with us in the same car, journeying to the sandy desert. The driver came to our hotel to pick us up first. We then stopped at another hotel, fetching a family of four from Mexico. We continued to our leading destination, the desert, a drive of an hour. Here, the fun began with Quad Biking and Camel Riding. As our quad bike was set up, there was an opportunity to don Arabian-style headscarves. Though they came at a cost, we were allowed to try them on. Once we had patiently waited, our thrilling quad biking exploration of the sandy stretch for 25 minutes commenced.
A Thrilling Quad Bike Ride:
I initially found the ATV rides bumpy during my evening desert safari with quad bike adventure. This ride was thrilling, but I started enjoying them as I adapted. They gave us 25 minutes to traverse the desert and enjoy it with other riders. Racing on the dunes, I captured the moments on my camera. The staff signals the end of your time; managing the ride is their job, not yours.
Camel Ride On High Red Dunes:
After the quad bikes, we tried camel rides on the same dunes. These short rides last for about five to ten minutes. A guide led the camel, and I could click photos and make some videos. Check out these on my social media!
4X4 Dune Bashing:
A previous dune bashing event had caused motion sickness, so this time I came prepared. We finally reached our spot for sandboarding and rode down the dunes with our favorite music. Navigate steep dunes may not be comfortable for all. Sandboarding proved a bit tricky. Keeping balance is the trick to a smooth slide. The first attempt led to a fall, but the second was successful; it’s exciting when it works and a mess when it doesn’t. We all had some turns, and we were content with our rides.
Conclusion
Were we heading to UAE for the first time? Dubai Desert Safari is a must! I especially enjoyed the camel and quad bike rides. They also has an evening BBQ event; it’s an exciting add-on if you have time. We passed on the entertainment part because we felt a bit worn out. Once done with the rides, we spent a little while in the quad bike section. Due to the crowd, we couldn’t get enough time to snap photos with the Falcon, which let me down a bit. It was 20 dirhams for a brief 30-second encounter with the Falcon. But overall, the tour ran smoothly, we felt taken care of. We shared our ride with a lovely family, too.
